The DOE National Energy Technology Laboratory issued this document announcing DOE will provide funding to state energy offices for programs that strengthen the building retrofit markets make available energy efficiency action grants.

Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program
DOE provides grants to states, local governments, Indian tribes, and overseas U.S. territories to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions from combustion of fossil fuels, and install renewable energy systems.

Weatherization Assistance Program Allocation Formula to the States
DOE provides grants to the states to manage their weatherization programs. Weatherization services are provided to low-income families through a network of more than 900 local weatherization service providers.

DOE provides incentive payments to municipal utilities for renewable power generation, depending on yearly Congressional allocations.
