President Barack Obama stressed the importance of weatherization in spurring local economic growth and creating jobs at the Jobs and Economic Growth Forum on December 3, 2009. The President called the forum at the White House in order to brainstorm with corporate executive officers, small business owners, labor leaders, and heads of nonprofit organizations about how to encourage economic growth and create jobs.
