Idaho Home Weatherization Assistance Program
The Weatherization Assistance Program is funded by the Department of Health and Welfare and administered by local Southeast Idaho Community Action Agencies (SEICA) to provide assistance to low-income people. Each Community Action agency may offer all or some of these services: insulation and venting, health and safety, air infiltration, and heating system repair. Contact one of the regional community action agencies for information about services in your area.

Energy and Low-Income Heating Assistance (LIHEAP) in Idaho

Complete List of Idaho's Low-Income Energy Programs

The National Energy Accessibility and Affordability Project (NEAAP) publishes a complete list of the programs available to low-income households in the state, including those funded by federal and state governments, Idaho utilities, and charities. NEAAP publishes this list as part of the LIHEAP Clearinghouse, which is maintained on the National Center for Appropriate Technology Web site and receives support from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The list also includes LIHEAP contacts in Idaho. Under federal rules, Idaho can use up to 25% of its LIHEAP funds for weatherization.
