Community- and Facility-Scale Tribal Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Workshop

July 10–11, 2014
Bonneville Power Administration Building
905 NE 11th Ave.
Portland, Oregon 97232

Presented by the Tribal Energy Program and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Indian Energy with support from DOE's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, this interactive workshop will walk participants through five steps to help tribes understand the process for and potential pitfalls of developing community- and facility-scale renewable energy projects.

This workshop is designed for elected tribal leaders, tribal executives, and tribal staff interested in gaining knowledge and confidence to develop community and facility-scale renewable energy projects.

Attendees will learn how renewable energy project development can advance tribal clean energy goals and hear from other tribes about their experiences.

In preparation for the meeting, we ask that attendees review the Project Development and Financing Essentials course on the National Training & Education Resource website.
