Upcoming Workshops

Alaska Native Village Energy Development Workshop
April 29-30, 2014
Anchorage, Alaska

Presented by the Tribal Energy Program and the DOE Office of Indian Energy, this workshop is designed to help Alaska Native villages and corporations understand the range of energy efficiency and renewable energy opportunities that exist in their remote communities. Part of an overall effort to further support and encourage accelerated clean energy resource development in Alaska Native villages, the workshop will cover topics such as:

  • Strategic energy planning
  • Clean energy project development and financing
  • Technology updates
  • Energy efficiency
  • Weatherization
  • Workforce development

Location
The workshop will take place in Anchorage during the week of the Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP) Business of Clean Energy in Alaska Conference May 1-2.

Registration
There is no cost to attend the workshop, but participants will be responsible for their own lodging, meals, and travel costs. Online registration is now closed, but on-site registration will be available.
