Recovery Act Helps to Fund Transmission Line for Montana Wind Power
DOE is helping the development of wind power in Montana by supporting a transmission line that runs from Great Falls, Montana, to Alberta, Canada. Recovery Act funds will back $161 million in loans for the project, which is expected to spark the development of a new 300-megawatt wind project. More
