Phoenix Solar Begins Construction of Tennessee's Largest Solar Installation

Phoenix Solar has begun construction on a 9.58 megawatt solar array being built on the land of a Volkswagon plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which will be the state's largest solar array upon the completion of construction. The system is expected to produce roughly 13.1 gigawatt-hours of electricity each year, which is the equivalent to 12.5% of the Volkswagon plant's annual electricity demand.
