Lord & Taylor Purchases 100% Renewable Energy for Seven New Jersey Stores
Lord & Taylor has signed an 18-month contract with Green Mountain Energy Company to purchase more than 21 million kilowatt-hours of 100% wind energy in order to meet the electricity demands of seven of its retail stores in New Jersey. With this purchase, Lord & Taylor becomes Green Mountain's first commercial customer in New Jersey, where Green Mountain has recently begun offering its clean energy services. More

NJ School Installs 6.1 MW Solar System
A private school in New Jersey, Lawrenceville School, has installed a 6.1 megawatt ground-mounted solar system on 30 acres of school-owned farmland. KDC Solar leased the land for the project from the school and owns and maintains the system. Pursuant to a power purchase agreement, Lawrenceville School will buy the power generated by the system over the next twenty years. More

NJ Resources Clean Energy Ventures Installs 14.1 MW Solar
New Jersey Resources Clean Energy Ventures (NJRCEV) has completed a 14.1 megawatt (MW) solar installation on McGraw-Hill's East Windsor, New Jersey campus. The solar array is expected to produce 18.4 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, providing renewable electricity for McGraw-Hill's offices in East Windsor. In addition to the McGraw-Hill installation, NJRCEV completed a 3.6 megawatt (MW) solar project at Manalapan Township , New Jersey, the remaining 25 percent of a 4.7 MW solar system in Vineland , New Jersey, and a 1.3 MW rooftop installation in Edison, New Jersey.
