Idaho Energy Division Announces New Wind Park

The Idaho Energy Division held a ceremony on July 21 to announce construction of a new wind power plant in Cassia County. The facility is called the Burley Butte Wind Park and will be rated at 10.5 megawatts (MW). The facility is scheduled to be in operation before the end of the year and is partially funded with a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
