Delaware Legislature Approves Performance Contracting
Delaware Governor Ruth Ann Minner signed Senate Bill (SB) 73 into law on June 28 permitting state agencies to enter into energy savings performance contracts with private companies. State agencies can finance energy efficiency upgrades based upon the projected savings those upgrades will generate under the contract. Read the bill.
