Oklahoma Approves Tax Credits for Energy-Efficient Residential Construction

Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry signed Senate Bill (SB) 610 on June 5 providing an income tax credit of up to $4,000 for construction of energy-efficient residential property. Read the bill (PDF 374 KB).

SB-610 allows individuals who construct new homes an income tax credit of up to $4,000 for construction of homes that are up to 40% more energy efficient than the standards set by the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) 2003.
