NASEO Announces Home Performance with ENERGY STAR

The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) announced on April 16 a new pilot program for ENERGY STAR. Called "Home Performance with ENERGY STAR," the new program is designed to improve the enegy efficiency of existing housing stock through a complete retrofit by a certified contractor. The pilot program will begin in Austin, Texas and ENERGY STAR has announced additional pilots in Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, and New Jersey. The following state and local organizations have signed partnership agreements:

  • Austin Energy, Texas
  • California Building Performance Association
  • Missouri Energy Center
  • New York State Energy Research and Development Authority
  • Wisconsin Focus on Energy
