Mississippi Enacts Tax Incentive for Ethanol

Mississippi Governor Ronnie Musgrove signed into law a tax incentive for ethanol producers in the state. The incentive went into effect in July 2002 and pays $0.20 per gallon. The bill was modeled on Minnesota's ethanol incentive. For details, see the Mississippi legislation.
