Alabama Brings Energy Efficiency to the Farm
Alabama is helping its farmers adopt cutting edge technologies and reduce their energy bills at the same time. This energy efficiency program addresses agriculture—the state's largest and one of its most energy intensive industries. Through this program, Alabama farmers are tackling new markets in biofuels, experimenting with new technologies and different approaches to crop rotations, and systematically reducing energy bills through energy efficiency.
