A Big Year for South Carolina Biomass
Several viable energy industries have quietly emerged in South Carolina in recent years based on using different types of biomass resources. This year, statewide constituencies came together to support bioenergy development, and the state legislature passed a series of incentives for producers and consumers. As a result, South Carolina is becoming a U.S. leader for bioenergy.
