SunShot Director Honored
Ramamoorthy Ramesh, director of the SunShot Initiative, was inducted into the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) at the organization's annual ceremony held last week in Washington, D.C. Ramesh was recognized for his contributions to the science and technology of functional complex oxide materials, which he has applied to his work advancing solar energy technologies. Ramesh has held professorships at the University of Maryland and the University of California, Berkeley, and serves as a faculty senior scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
