New CSP Funding Opportunity Targets R&D

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced a $60 million investment over 3 years to advance cutting-edge concentrating solar power (CSP) technologies. The SunShot CSP opportunity will support research and development (R&D) for technologies that have the potential to dramatically increase efficiency, lower costs, and deliver more reliable performance than existing commercial and near-commercial CSP systems.
