DOE Webcast August 15: National Clean Energy Business Creation Competition Funding Opportunity

The U.S. Department of Energy will present a live webcast titled National Clean Energy Business Creation Competition FOA Webinar on Monday, August 15, 2011, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT. On July 21, Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced $2 million in available funding for a national, university-based clean energy business challenge. This nationwide initiative will create a network of regional, student-focused clean energy business creation competitions whose winners will compete for a National Grand Prize at a competition held at the Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. in early summer 2012. Sarah Jane Maxted of DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy will present details on the funding opportunity.
