DOE Webinar February 24: Federal Renewable Energy Project Implementation

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) will present a Federal Renewable Energy Project Implementation webinar on Thursday, February 24, 2011.
The Federal Renewable Energy Project Implementation webinar walks Federal energy managers through the renewable energy project process from the request for proposal (RFP) to project closeout. Energy managers attending the course:
- Will be guided through the nine steps of Federal renewable energy projects
- Will be given information on financing mechanisms available for Federal renewable energy projects
- Will be shown technical resources available through FEMP, including information that can be used to inform agency staff and contractors.
Blaise Stoltenberg of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will present the session. Several NREL renewable energy and alternative financing experts will also be on hand to answer questions after the presentation.
The presentation is free of charge, but you must register in advance to obtain an Internet address (URL) for the presentation. The presentation will take place Thursday, February 24, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
