Financing Programs: Risk Management and Continuous Improvement

Description: This Webinar is the first in a three-part Financing Programs series that the Technical Assistance Program (TAP) will offer in January and February 2011. It addresses the risks inherent in Financing Programs, and provides tools and techniques that Program Managers can employ to identify challenges early, learn what is working and what is not, and continuously improve their programs.

Advanced Benchmarking: Benchmark Building Energy Use Quickly and Accurately Using EPA's ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager

Description: This Webinar will go beyond the basics of benchmarking energy performance using Portfolio Manager. The presentation will give attendees familiar with Portfolio Manager further guidelines related to getting data into the tool quickly and accurately. An example of how to benchmark a complex office building will be presented along with tips for benchmarking other public sector building types. Spreadsheet import options and EPA's Automated Benchmarking System will be reviewed as well to help attendees determine the best and most efficient approach to benchmarking.
