DOE Launches Redesigned Energy Empowers Web Site
August 30, 2010
U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) today announced that Energy Empowers, our clean energy blog, has redesigned its Web site. The site focuses on many of the projects sponsored by DOE and supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The blog tells the stories of people and businesses who are transforming the clean energy economy, from the battery manufacturer that plans to hire 80 workers in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin to the more than 10,000 low-income households in Ohio who now save money on their electricity bills.
The site is even more user-friendly and easier to navigate, with stories searchable by state, energy area or by specific Recovery Act grants and tax credits. For highlights of DOE’s latest clean energy projects, technologies, and the people who are driving the success of Recovery Act investments, visit the Energy Empowers Web site. Visitors can also sign up for an Energy Empowers newsletter with the new easy-to-use form on the site.
Energy Empowers is also on Facebook.
