DOE Webinar May 26: Online Maps and Geographic Information Systems Applications for Renewable Energy

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Technical Assistance Project (TAP) for state and local officials is offering an online seminar to instruct participants how to use online maps to download renewable energy data for a particular location. There will also be geographic information systems (GIS) tools that are available online to inform users about renewable energy information projects.
The presentation is titled "Web Mapping and Online GIS Applications for Renewable Energy," and will take place Wednesday, May 26, from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The speakers will be Dan Getman and Ted Quinby, GIS applications developers at the DOE National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
