Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Douglas L. Faulkner to join USDA

Today the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced the appointment of Douglas L. Faulkner to serve as deputy under secretary for rural development. Currently serving as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the Department of Energy, Mr. Faulkner will bring his extensive background in biomass to USDA, furthering that agency's work on renewable fuels.
