Recovery Act Announcement: Update: DOE Extends Letters of Intent Deadline for Grant Solicitation for Wind Energy Consortia between Universities and Industry

DOE has amended the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) entitled, "Recovery Act: Wind Energy Consortia between Institutions of Higher Learning and Industry." The amendment extends the date for submitting Letters of Intent from university applicants to June 29, 2009, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The application due date remains the same—July 29, 2009, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The FOA provides $24 million for the development of consortia between universities and industry to focus on critical wind energy challenges.
