May 23: Live Webinar on the Energy Audit Process and State Applications

The Energy Department will present a live webcast titled "The Energy Audit Process and State Applications" today from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The presentation will focus on the incorporation and application of energy audits in comprehensive energy efficiency programs. Using case studies from Colorado, some of the pitfalls and key items to consider will be presented in a practical manner that will help program managers and others effectively determine when and how to incorporate energy audits as effective components of an energy efficiency program.
May 23: Live Webinar on the Max Tech and Beyond Appliance Design Competition
The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "Max Tech and Beyond Appliance Design Competition" today from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Eight faculty-led student teams from U.S. universities will present their innovative prototype designs and testing results of energy-efficient appliances and commercial equipment. The webinar will showcase each team demonstrating the energy and/or cost savings of their efficient technologies to a panel of expert judges from both the private sector and the Energy Department and its national laboratories.

May 29: Live Webinar on Regional Transmission Planning

The Energy Department's Office of Indian Energy Policy and Programs, its Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Tribal Energy Program, and the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) will present the next Tribal Renewable Energy Series webinar titled "Regional Transmission Planning" on Wednesday, May 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Speakers from WAPA's Rocky Mountain Region, its Upper Great Plains Region, and WestConnect will provide an overview of various interconnection-based regional transmission planning efforts.
