DOE Announces First Photovoltaic Codes and Standards Meeting

The Solar America Board for Codes and Standards in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, organized the first National Photovoltaic Stakeholders Meeting on Photovoltaic Codes and Standards. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 27 from 3pm to 6pm at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach Seaview Ballroom in Long Beach, CA at the conclusion of the Solar Power 2007 Conference and Expo.

Meeting attendees will learn about the current concerns among various codes and standards making bodies. There will also be opportunities to enroll in national panels on product safety, qualification testing, building electrical codes, international and national standards, interconnection standards, and net metering rules.
