Hawaii Natural Energy Institute

Since 1974, the Hawaii Natural Energy Institute has coordinated the research and development (R&D) of the island's renewable energy resources. Its current R&D efforts include thin films, biomass technologies, ocean energy, and electrochemical power systems.
