Speakers List Updated for National Renewable Energy Conference
DOE and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on September 25th announced the updated list of speakers for the national renewable energy conference, Advancing Renewable Energy: An American Rural Renaissance, to be held October 10th-12th at the America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Newly added speakers addressing renewable energy topics are Steven L. Johnson of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Jim Talent, a U.S. Senator from Missouri; S. Richard Tolman of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA); and Randall Swisher of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). S. Richard Tolman and Randall Swisher will serve as Masters of Ceremonies. The agencies also released a list of conference panelists, many of whom are leaders in their field, including Dr. Dan Arvizu, director of DOE's National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
