Memorandum Signed between U.S Department of Agriculture, DOE, and China

December 12, 2007 - The DOE and U.S. Department of Agriculture signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China to cooperate in the development of biomass resources and biofuels. The MOU outlines the plans of the two countries to collaborate in biomass and feedstock production, conversion technology and engineering, bio-based product development and utilization standards, and rural and agricultural development strategies.
