While in Indiana to promote expansion of the Ethanol infrastructure, Assistant Secretary Alexander Karsner joined Energy Secretary Samuel W. Bodman Thursday for "Ethanol Day" at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This season, the Indy Racing League is using a 10% Ethanol fuel blend and next season the cars will be fueled with 100% Ethanol. Like Indy Cars, many cars on the road today can be fueled by Ethanol. This homegrown fuel is leading the way to Energy Independence.
