EERE Supports Renewable Energy & Alternative Fuels Trade Mission to Europe, September 10-19

August 02, 2007

The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy is supporting a trade mission to Europe, organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Foreign & Commercial Service. The goal of the meeting is to bring together domestic business interests with partners overseas in the alternative fuels and renewable energy sector.

Representatives will visit with industry professionals in Munich, Germany; Budapest, Hungary; Bratislava, Slovak Republic; Prague, Czech Republic; and Warsaw, Poland. Each stop will include detailed market intelligence briefings for each sub-sector for their relative markets; sub-sectors include bio-fuels, bio-mass, waste-to-energy, hydropower, geothermal and clean coal technologies.

Receptions will be coordinated by our U.S. Embassies and Consulates in their respective countries. A great opportunity to meet high level contacts and to obtain the inside story for various country projects.

The first appointment option is September 9, 2007. See complete details of the trade mission on the U.S. Department of Commerce Web site.
