Expanding the Ethanol Infrastructure

America's heartland has the resources and capability to produce biofuels like Ethanol, which can be blended with conventional gasoline to create an automotive fuel that is competitively priced, environment friendly and helps reduce our nation's dependence on foreign oil. Today, Assistant Secretary Alexander Karsner joins Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and other important partners to promote the expansion of the E-85 (85% Ethanol / 15% gasoline blended fuel) infrastructure and the President's Advanced Energy Initiative.
