Karsner Returns from Biofuels Dialogue in Brazil

Assistant Secretary Alexander Karsner traveled to Brazil for a week of meetings highlighting the United States' work in hydrogen power and biofuels. Assistant Secretary Karsner participated in the annual meeting of the International Partnership for a Hydrogen Economy (IPHE) in Sao Paulo before heading to Brasilia to meet with government and business leaders to discuss the U.S. biofuels industry and our research efforts.

While highlighting the work of EERE's biomass and vehicles programs, Assistant Secretary Karsner's dialogue with members of the automobile industry, Brazil's Department of Energy, and the President's office centered on building an international conversation and partnership on biofuels.
