EERE Visits Novozymes, Addresses Energy Efficiency Summit

In a one-day trip to North Carolina, Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Alexander Karsner visited Novozymes, a producer of enzymes and microorganisms used in the production of biofuels. Karsner toured the facilities and met with executives. While in North Carolina, Karsner also addressed the North Carolina Summit on Energy Efficiency, where he highlighted DOE's efficiency programs and state outreach initiatives.
