Assistant Secretary Karsner Testifies Before Congress

Assistant Secretary Alexander Karsner testified in front of the House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development on March 20, 2007. Karsner presented and discussed the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Fiscal Year 2008 budget request. The FY 2008 budget request addresses pressing energy and environmental challenges facing our country today by accelerating the development of both renewable energy technologies to increase the amount of clean energy produced in the United States and advanced energy efficient technologies, standards, and practices that use less energy.
