Assistant Secretary Karsner Delivers Keynote Address at National Ethanol Conference

Assistant Secretary Alexander Karsner spoke at the Renewable Fuels Association's National Ethanol Conference in Tucson, Arizona, on Tuesday, February 20. He described the role of DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the President's Advanced Energy Initiative. He also spoke about the prominence of ethanol in the portfolio of renewable energy resources that must be developed in order to reduce our nation's need for imported petroleum. With more than 2,000 attendees, the National Ethanol Conference is a forum on biofuels for industry professionals, government officials and academics.
