President Obama Discusses America's Energy Security

On March 30, President Obama outlined his plan to strengthen America's energy security in a speech at Georgetown University. The President’s Blueprint for a Secure Energy Future outlines the Administration’s national energy policy, which aims to further develop and diversify America’s energy resources while spurring America’s global competitiveness in the 21st century clean energy economy. To help meet the President’s goals, the U.S. Department of Energy will continue to invest in the innovative technologies, research, development, and deployment necessary to realize a cleaner, more prosperous, more secure energy future.
