Appliance Rebate Program Featured on "Good Morning America"

On Friday, February 12, ABC's "Good Morning America" featured the State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program in its "Your Money" installment. The segment describes this $300 million initiative, supporting consumers in purchasing new, energy-efficient appliances to replace older and less efficient models. The program is run by state energy offices with funding from the U.S. Department of Energy under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The individual state programs are launching over the next few months and will continue until funds are exhausted.
