The Energy Department announced more than $45 million in awards for 38 new projects that will accelerate the research and development of vehicle technologies to improve fuel efficiency, lower transportation costs, and protect the environment.
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) completed the nation’s second competitive lease sale for renewable energy in federal waters, garnering $1.6 million in high bids for more than 112,000 acres offshore of Virginia.
