Dr. Richard Martin received B.S. and M.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
Since 1989, Dr. Martin has managed an engineering consulting business specializing in serving the process heating needs of the petrochemical and refining industries. He has more than 30 years experience in designing combustion equipment for fired heaters and boilers. Beginning in 1971, he worked with John Zink Co. and Callidus Technologies in technical and senior managerial capacities. From 1989 to 1999, Dr. Martin served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer for Callidus Technologies. He holds 15 patents associated with combustion technologies. From 1999 to 2005, he taught engineering courses at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dr. Martin is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is a Registered Professional Engineer. He is a DOE Qualified Specialist in Process Heating, and a DOE Energy Expert.
