Ron Wroblewski, PE, is the President of Productive Energy Solutions, LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin. His consulting and training business helps industrial plants and commercial facilities increase productivity and profitability by making more effective use of their compressed air, fan, pump, and blower systems. He has more than 20 years of experience designing, analyzing, specifying, and optimizing industrial and commercial energy systems, including fan, compressed air, pump, blower, HVAC, and lighting systems.

Prior to founding Productive Energy Solutions in 1998, Ron spent five years working with the Energy Center of Wisconsin. During his tenure, he developed and conducted training events, including a two-day performance optimization course for fans and pumps. In addition, he developed the MotoRater, which is a hand-held calculator wheel for analyzing motor energy costs, as well as the Fan and Pump Optimization Checklists. He also coordinated the development of case studies, including successful projects at Heileman, Louisiana-Pacific, Ellsworth Creamery, and North Shore Water Commission.

Ron is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and New York. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers and serves on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Renewable Energy Association. He earned his B.S.M.E. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Mexico.

Ron is a DOE Qualified Specialist for both Fan and Pumping Systems, an instructor for fan and pumping systems end user training, and a DOE Energy Expert.
