Projects

GTP partners with industry, academia, research facilities, and national laboratories in its research, development, and demonstration efforts to verify the application relevance of geothermal technologies and to enhance deployment prospects.

These activities are primarily conducted through funding opportunity awards, made available through Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs). Visit GTP's Current Opportunities to learn about currently available FOAs.

Previous awards have resulted in numerous projects that work together to fulfill FTP’s mission and goals. For each project you will find a project profile that includes background information, objectives and milestones, and a listing of participants.

These profiles should help members of the geothermal community, as well as the general public and anyone interested in renewable energy options to find information on the growing number of geothermal projects in the U.S.

The following documents are available as Adobe Acrobat PDFs. Download Adobe Reader.

About the Project Profiles

GTP maintains the projects database behind this Web site. The general information for the profiles is taken directly from the summary sheet from the proposals submitted in response to a Funding Opportunity Announcement as provided by the awardee and its partners. Information on current status or news is provided by the primary awardee as the project progresses.
