| Brief Project Description | Two existing buildings were renovated as part of an expansion of the Johnson Controls Corporate Headquarters Campus in Milwaukee, WI. Flat plate solar collectors were added on the roof of one of the buildings to provide domestic hot water. The panels supply 30% of the hot water needs to the 160,000 square feet of space in these buildings. This is one aspect of a completed project, involving four major buildings covering 306,000 sq. ft. that is expected to achieve LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Buildings Council. |
