EnergyWitness™ is an operational system based on data from all available sources, knowledge of building operations and analysis, and the technology to support the system. In combination, the elements define the science of building operations and provide a platform to:

Input
EnergyWitness combines the data from monthly data, interval meter data, and building automation data as a basis for an extensive analysis.
Output
Preformatted and user-definable reports. Reports are downloadable to Microsoft Excel for further analysis (and to a variety of other formats for other purposes, e.g., PDF, HTML). Web-based reports also have personalization and subscription features, enabling users to have their own variants in a My Reports area or have relevant reports e-mailed to them at a frequency they specify.
Computer Platform
The reports are available via the Web. The application is hosted either by IDS or on our client’s physical or virtual servers.
Programming Language
The Web reports use Microsoft Reporting Services.
Strengths
Finding "low cost, no cost" energy efficiency opportunities in large, complex buildings and campuses.
Weaknesses
It is not as well suited for small retail stores.
