Input
The user enters the building location (zip code), age of home, utility bills (if available), and thermal enclosure areas. The user then needs only enter detailed thermal characteristics where the improvements may be made. The model preloads with regional and age defaults based on the age and area of the home, and the user can set any input as a default value. The user entry uses spinner boxes, dropdown lists, and combination boxes to make it easy to use with handheld devices.

Strengths
OptiMiser was designed from the ground up for home performance and weatherization contractors to drive the home owner from audit to action.
