¡Get Psyched!
Allows you to do psychrometric calculations in MS Excel. ĄGet Psyched! is based on ASHRAE correlations and is more than accurate enough for HVAC applications. It works with both English (IP) and Metric (SI) units.
You can calculate these properties in any Excel spreadsheet:
- Enthalpy (h)
- Dewpoint Temperature (dp)
- Relative Humidity (%)
- Humidity Ratio (W)
- Specific Volume (v)
- Wet Bulb Temperature (wb)
Can also quickly and easily plot points on a psychrometric chart. The chart will correct automatically to any altitude that you select, up to 15,000 ft. or 5,000 meters. Screen Shots

Input
User supplies two known quantities such as dry bulb temperature and wet bulb temperature. From these the functions allow you to find other unknown properties such as dewpoint temperature, relative humidity, enthalpy, etc.
Output
The package includes a psychrometric chart in Excel where points or processes can be plotted. Results can also be added to any Excel spreadsheet such as the user's own analysis template.

Psychrometric analysis for HVAC processes in a spreadsheet.
Weaknesses
The correlations used in the software were developed for HVAC calculations and energy analysis. They are not intended for analysis at extremely high temperatures and pressures such as conditions found in engine combustion.

Download a shareware version of ĄGet Psyched! (only ~450 kB) from the web site and try it out for 60 days. The shareware version will warn you after 30 days and then expire completely after 60. Then if you decide it's worth it, you can register your version. There's nothing additional to install.
